Beauty Without Sacrificing Modesty

By February 8, 2022No Comments

Orthodox Judaism encompasses many traditions and customs. According to the Orthodox Jewish religion, women must always remain modest, even in their wedding dress.

Orthodox women are usually required to wear skirts and dresses that fall below the knee, they must cover their arms to the elbow, and they must wear clothing with high-cut necklines.

Picking a wedding dress is a major deal for any bride, but Orthodox women must be especially selective when it comes time to pick their wedding dress to make sure they are abiding by the tradition.

One of our most recent pieces was done for a very religious, Orthodox Jewish young woman. This bride’s dress has a high neckline and long sleeves, honoring the customs of the Orthodox religion.

This beautiful dress perfectly combined religious traditions with a modern, stylish twist. The extra fabric on the sleeves and neckline provided additional space for the lovely floral lace pattern.

Although quite modest, this dress is powerfully elegant – dare we say, sexy?
